This data set helps the blind pick and buy groceries

Posted By bennetha on 2017-10-12 02:23:42

With this data set, I have developed an iPhone app which brings to the finger tips of blind people  products available in the 6 supermarket chains, their prices and any special discounts on offer.  It also provides price comparison of products across the supermarket chains.  More than 1,000 users have downloaded this app and many blind people find it a useful tool for selecting and buying the groceries they need, anywhere and any time.  Many of my sighted friends find this app useful, too.

This app can be downloaded from the App Store at:

How to use the data

My friend find this is useful. We can provide the product price to the blind people before the shop in the supermarket. I think more  developers can share their idea on how to use the data
